About The Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Website and Digital Marketing professional to join our Marketing team here the Old Course Hotel as the Website and Digital Marketing Manager. In this role, you will manage the hotels online presence with a focus on website performance, user experience, content management as well as digital marketing strategies. You will work in collaboration with our Graphic Designers, Developers and Brand Team to align with our brand and business goals.
In addition, you will manage the hotels digital CRM strategy and work closely with our in-house IT department on new IT innovations to enhance our guest experience. Your responsibilities will include:
Website Management
- Overseeing the development, maintenance and optimisation of our websites to ensure functionality and engaging user experience.
Digital Strategy
- Manage relationships with external agencies to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement and conversion rates. Managing the agency to ensure SEO,PPC, email marketing and social paid campaigns are as effective as possible.
- Collaborating with our Content Manager to ensure the publication of high quality and SEO optimised content including blogs, landing pages and multimedia.
- Carry out regular analysis of website traffic, user behaviour and campaign performance followed by the creation and implementation of strategies for improvement.
Email Marketing
- Develop and manage campaigns that drive engagement, increase conversion rates and build brand loyalty.
- Identify opportunities for digital upselling at all points of our guests experience including pre, during and post visit.
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- At least 4 years’ experience within a similar role.
- Hands on experience and strong knowledge of HTML/CSS/CMS and CRM Systems.
- A bachelor’s degree in a Marketing & Communications related field, or equivalent working experience.

£35,000 – £40,000

40 hours per week
Mon – Fri
Hybrid working 3 days on-site, 2 days remote working per week
