This role calls for an individual who is not only technically adept but also possesses the ability to work seamlessly with government personnel. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience in driving project success, demonstrating excellent communication proficiency, and a strong grasp of government acquisition protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead and oversee intricate projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate closely with government personnel and stakeholders to meet project objectives and build robust partnerships.
  • Offer specialized technical guidance and strategic planning to guarantee project alignment with set goals.
  • Monitor project outcomes, address issues swiftly, and pinpoint areas for process enhancements.
  • Ensure strict compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and contract stipulations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to address government inquiries and furnish timely project updates.
  • Recognize and mitigate potential risks, keeping stakeholders informed of any contractual or programmatic concerns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 24 semester hours in business-related coursework from an accredited institution, or 10 years of federal contract specialist experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Over 10 years of experience in conducting quality management activities related to government acquisitions.
  • A minimum of 5 years in developing acquisition policies and procedural guidance.
  • Certifications (one or more of the following):
  • DAWIA Level III
  • FAC-C Level III
  • NCMA Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM)
  • NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM)
