Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams under the mentorship of senior designers or project managers to develop graphic assets for various communications and marketing initiatives, encompassing both client and internal projects (e.g., infographics, posters, web banners, and more).
- Act as a visual storyteller, presenting visually engaging solutions that effectively convey core messages derived from content, scripts, or stakeholder feedback.
- Generate unique and eye-catching designs that resonate with target audiences and align with communication objectives.
- Create and present design concepts to both clients and project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Oversee projects from inception to final delivery, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
- Design Microsoft Office templates for reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (including Section 508) while maintaining cohesive branding across all materials.
- Utilize insights from industry trends and client feedback to devise innovative solutions efficiently.

- Comprehensive understanding of graphic design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for crafting design documents and templates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Communications, Media, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience working within creative agencies, PR/marketing environments, or government consulting.
- A strong design portfolio demonstrating expertise in graphic design.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, complemented by meticulous attention to detail.
- A collaborative team player capable of working independently in a remote setting.
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple intricate projects to meet deadlines.
- U.S. work authorization required; sponsorship is not available.
- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. government security clearance is necessary.
- Preference will be given to candidates with veteran status.
