About the Role

We’re looking for a visionary Senior Digital Marketing Manager (Search) to lead the way as we transition our search function from agency support to an in-house powerhouse. This is a brand-new role and a career-defining opportunity to establish and shape this critical function, building it from the ground up to drive exceptional results.

This role will oversee and drive the strategic and operational excellence of both paid and organic search initiatives. It will be responsible for aligning SEO and SEM strategies to meet business goals, maximising revenue, customer acquisition, and retention while ensuring cost efficiency. 

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll develop and execute a unified search strategy, ensuring that our customers’ online journey is both seamless and impactful. You’ll combine data-driven insights with innovative thinking to ensure our search ecosystem is not only efficient but also cutting-edge.

Key Responsibilities

• Innovate and Lead: Develop a cohesive search strategy that integrates SEM and SEO efforts, driving growth, ROI, and business objectives.
• Build from Scratch: Establish and optimise the in-house search function, setting up processes, tools, and best practices for long-term success.
• Data-Driven Excellence: Conduct in-depth analysis of search performance, using insights to optimise channel efficiency and identify growth opportunities.
• Customer-Centric Focus: Improve customer acquisition and retention by refining the search journey through innovative content and landing page strategies.
• Performance Mastery: Oversee tagging, tracking, and feed health to ensure accurate measurement and reporting.
• Team Empowerment: Guide, mentor, and inspire the SEO and SEM managers, fostering a collaborative culture of innovation.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to align search strategies with broader marketing and business goals.
• Budget Stewardship: Manage search budgets, making data-driven investment decisions to achieve maximum efficiency and ROI.

With a proven track record in search marketing and a passion for crafting seamless digital experiences, you bring:
