Senior Accountant For Restaurant Accounting Services Wfh (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the month-end close procedure for a designated group of clients.
• Analyze P&L statements to identify variances or irregularities and engage proactively with client teams to resolve issues.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and troubleshoot any discrepancies.
• Prepare initial drafts of financial statements and management reports for review by managerial staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information, address inquiries, and offer comprehensive support.
• Mentor and guide Staff Accountants and new team members.
• Deliver exemplary customer service to both clients and internal team members.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of comprehensive GL accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Previous experience in public accounting or outsourced accounting services.
• Experience in the restaurant/hospitality sector is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with cloud accounting software such as Sage Intacct or Restaurant365.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is essential.
• A minimum of 4 years of full-cycle GL accounting experience is required.

Compensation And Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from (75,000 to )95,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, in addition to bonus potential.
