Staff Program Manager Business Operations | Chainalysis | United States

The Business Operations team at Chainalysis is dedicated to developing and leading cross-company programs that support our mission. We are committed to fostering a diverse team capable of creating and executing strategic cross-functional initiatives to enhance Chainalysis operations.

As a Staff Program Manager, you will utilize your extensive business acumen and expertise to drive impactful projects, particularly within revenue and finance operations, while also being adaptable to lead other significant initiatives beyond this scope. In this role, you will ensure that cross-functional teams meet defined program milestones and deliverables by removing obstacles, escalating risks and issues as necessary, providing progress visibility, and ensuring effective collaboration across teams. Specifically, you will partner with our finance and revenue teams to develop a quote-to-cash process, streamlining operations for revenue and sale, improving the customer experience, and enhancing control over our deals.

Note: We would prefer this employee be based out of the New York City or Washington, D.C. areas but will consider highly qualified applicants from remote locations.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead program management for quote-to-cash initiatives, overseeing discovery, planning, and implementation
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the Finance, Legal, BizTech, and Revenue Operations team to plan, scope, and identify deliverables, required resources, and timing for new initiatives
  • Define clear goals, prioritize the right work, and use data to drive crisp decisions in partnership with stakeholders
  • Create and manage Quote to Cash project plans; monitor and review project progress and timelines, adjust schedules and plans as needed, and identify and resolve risks/issues to ensure project success
  • Lead day-to-day execution of Quote to Cash projects and assist with the planning, tracking, documentation, and status updates for the project; deliver status updates to relevant executives and team members of the Quote to Cash work stream
  • Develop KPIs, metrics, and reporting to drive execution and improvement
  • Manage cross-team dependencies, align roadmaps, and unblock teams. Support planning activities that identify dependencies
  • Lead other various company initiatives and projects as requested

We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field; Master’s in Business or Business Administration preferred
  • A strong understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) methodologies, Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) systems and strategy development within the SaaS industry
  • A strategic mindset, and the ability to deeply understand the bigger picture while also executing on the details of deliverables
  • The ability to implement structure, order, and clarity to ambiguous problems with little direction or oversight
  • A self-motivated, goal-oriented attitude, and can work effectively as an individual or as part of a team
  • Strong leadership and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders at all levels of seniority, building strong trusted relationships and leading through influence
  • Problem-solving skills and sound judgment to make decisions within ambiguous situations; flexibility and adaptability to remain effective while responding to new challenges and opportunities

Nice to have experience:

  • Experience in program management at a high-growth tech company
  • Deep familiarity with Jira and Confluence as program management tools

This position is ineligible for visa sponsorship.
