Key Responsibilities
- Develop well-structured, efficient, and scalable code while tackling intricate challenges.
- Assume ownership of assignments and independently drive solutions, demonstrating initiative and ingenuity in problem-solving.
- Architect and implement resilient microservice structures capable of handling extensive data ingestion (processing millions of images daily).
- Utilize a diverse tech stack, including Go, TypeScript (Node.js), and cloud technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Engineer and sustain backend frameworks and databases, employing tools like PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives and scalability requirements.
- Spearhead technical initiatives and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Go and TypeScript (Node.js) programming languages.
- Strong foundation in backend systems and databases, coupled with experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Extensive background in microservice architecture, system design at scale, and ensuring high performance and availability.
- Versatile in working with a variety of tools and technologies, adept at selecting the appropriate resources for specific tasks.
- Demonstrated capability in leading technical projects and collaborating effectively with engineering and product teams.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Over 5 years of experience in software development, particularly focusing on backend technologies and cloud services.
