- Manage the tendering process from start to finish, ensuring submissions are competitive and compelling.
- Build and maintain relationships with flooring installer contractors, project managers, and tradespeople to secure long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing and efficient delivery of tenders.
- Engage with flooring contractors to address pricing requests, leveraging your knowledge of construction processes.
- Represent the brand confidently on construction sites, building rapport with trades and contractors.
- Identify opportunities to grow market share, balancing short-term wins with long-term project development.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with contractors from initial specification to project completion, ensuring our products are top-of-mind throughout the process.
- Work closely with the A&D team to prepare presentations for large projects and achieve state budget objectives.
- Prior experience managing tenders, project proposals, or administration within the construction industry. (If you have been in a role outside of sales and were involved in the tendering process and want to step into a Sales role, this is also for you).
- Demonstrated success in high-value sales and prospecting for new business, particularly within the commercial sector.
- You are a self-motivated, proactive, and energetic professional with a sharp sense of initiative, always eager to identify and seize new opportunities for business growth.
- Proficiency in managing commercial projects, with a track record of delivering results.
- You will have strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Flexibility to travel as this is a high requirement.
