What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Advocate for the Middle Market value proposition to enhance customer experience
• Develop and nurture broker networks focusing on mid-market customers
• Conduct broker calls to promote products and increase market penetration
• Evaluate exposures and risks to provide appropriate coverage and pricing
• Collaborate with Underwriting Services team to ensure timely and accurate customer service

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5+ years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing area, OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10+ years of experience in Claims or Underwriting Support area, OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 3+ years in Underwriting or Market Facing area, OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 8+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support area
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience working under time constraints

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in commercial property and casualty underwriting
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
