Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an integral member of the Sales & Service team, delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
- Efficiently manage inbound customer service calls and inquiries with professionalism.
- Accurately process and coordinate sales orders, parts shipments, and machine sales, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
- Troubleshoot order discrepancies, collaborating closely with customers, service personnel, and engineering teams to find effective resolutions.
- Provide stakeholders with timely updates and reports on sales orders, budgets, and backorders.
- Oversee the returned goods (RGA) processes and manage service parts credits.
- Work with traffic teams and customers to ensure proper handling of international shipping documentation.
- Verify freight costs and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with vendors and management.
- Coordinate the logistics of machine and parts movements, both domestically and internationally.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in a Customer Service or Sales role, particularly in order processing.
- Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, with experience in JD Edwards being advantageous.
- Familiarity with tools such as DocuSign and Salesforce.
- Advanced Excel capabilities and a solid understanding of international trade procedures and incoterms.
- Knowledge of export/import documentation and customs regulations.
- Proficient in shipping software and data entry systems.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced settings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy under pressure.
Qualifications
- An Associate degree in Business is preferred but not mandatory.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in customer service and order processing is essential.
