About The Position
In the role of Planning Manager, you will be integral in steering operational excellence and synchronizing demand with supply within our global headwear sector. Your contributions will ensure that our products are available at the right time, while also optimizing inventory and enhancing forecasting accuracy to underpin business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Demand Planning: Generate and uphold precise demand forecasts at the SKU level by leveraging historical data and market trends.
- Supply Planning: Formulate supply strategies to guarantee product accessibility while managing inventory levels effectively.
- Inventory Management: Supervise inventory health across diverse channels to uphold service levels while minimizing costs and stock excess.
- Seasonal Planning & Margin Management: Collaborate with leadership to devise annual and seasonal merchandise strategies.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track critical performance indicators and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaboration & Communication: Act as a central liaison for planning activities across various teams and support new product launches with structured plans.
Qualifications
About You
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in demand/supply planning or inventory management, preferably within fashion, apparel, or accessories industries.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role is preferred.
Required Skills
- Proficient in forecasting tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite).
- Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Exceptional communication and collaborative skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
