The Opportunity
Reporting to the Vice President Marketing, the Customer Marketing Manager will lead our global customer marketing program, responsible for planning, executing, and measuring programmatic initiatives. Through creative advocacy programs, compelling storytelling, and targeted engagement strategies, you will transform satisfied customers into active brand ambassadors. This role works closely with the wider Marketing team as well as cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Product Marketing, and Product Management to ensure alignment and maximize effectiveness.
Your Responsibilities
Client Engagement
- Define the annual customer marketing plan, objectives, and goals. Design and execute campaigns to increase customer retention, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to identify and address customer needs proactively.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of customer advocacy initiatives and monitor and analyze customer feedback for continuous improvement.
Event Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute customer events, including annual summits, webinars, and user groups.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure events are impactful and aligned with business objectives.
Content Development
- Establish continuous communication with clients through emails, newsletters, alerts, etc., ensuring they are always updated with the latest Introhive news and offerings.
- Create compelling, customer-focused content such as newsletters, success stories, and webinars.
- Partner with the Content Marketing manager to highlight customer successes across channels.
Referral and Case Study Programs
- Build and manage structured referral programs to drive new customer acquisition.
- Develop engaging customer case studies and video testimonials to showcase success stories.
.Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Marketing to ensure customers are informed about new features and updates.
- Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to align marketing efforts with business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3 + years of experience in customer marketing or account management preferably in a global Tech or B2B SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing customer reference and advocacy programs.
- Experience planning and executing customer events.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling content.
- Experience in the development and execution of integrated campaigns to support the upsell/cross-sell of products to an existing customer base.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics).
- A collaborative mindset with a track record of working across teams to achieve goals.
- Strategic thinking ability and a proactive attitude, comfortable with change and managing multiple projects and stakeholders globally.
