Senior Data Engineer (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer Tech Lead to join our team. This role requires a strong background in data engineering and proven experience managing end-to-end data projects in collaboration with global clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern data technologies and be able to lead a team, manage client relationships, and deliver high-quality results.

About the Role: Lead the execution of data projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and timelines. Communicate effectively with clients from the US, Europe, and Asia to understand needs, provide updates, and manage expectations. Design, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data. Develop and optimize data workflows using Databricks and Apache Spark. Orchestrate APIs to facilitate data integration and flow between systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project goals and deliverables. Ensure data quality, security, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of data projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and timelines.
• Communicate effectively with clients from the US, Europe, and Asia to understand needs, provide updates, and manage expectations.

Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in data engineering roles.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Databricks, AWS, and Apache Spark.
• Hands-on experience with building and maintaining ETLs.
• Knowledge of SQL Server as a data source (Nice to Have).
• Familiarity with dbt for data transformation (Nice to Have).
• Exceptional English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proven experience working with international clients in English.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with global regulatory requirements for data handling and compliance.
• Experience in Agile project management methodologies.
