Essential Job Duties
- Possess professional telecommunication skills to effectively troubleshoot and resolve complicated inquires/questions for RCM by monitoring the financial hotline and email, responding appropriately and providing support with benefit inquires, patient responsibility and financial hardship.
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot and deescalate complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Manage expiring financial hardship agreements, providing renewals when needed
- Proactively works with RCM managers and supervisors to identify improvements
- Support all Intake functions, as needed
- Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
Ideal Candidate Will Have
- College degree or 5 or more years of experience in healthcare.
- Experience in healthcare reimbursement with focus on intake, insurance verification, authorization and/or billing and collections functions such as coordination of accounts receivable in a multi-payer environment, locally and nationally – including but not limited to private pay, HMO, PPO, and State and Federal Payers.
- Excellent written and verbal communications and exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to present complex financial analyses in simple terms to patients and/or guarantors to set up financial assistance or financial hardship waivers.
- Demonstrate proactive problem solving and strong organizational skills with a thorough understanding of HIPAA requirements.
Salary Range: $22 an hour
Pentec Health offers a comprehensive compensation and full benefits package. Actual pay will be based on several factors such as qualifications and skills for the role plus geographic location.
