About the Role:

We’re seeking a talented Content Writer to join our growing marketing team. You will work closely with SEO strategists and UX/Graphic specialists to plan, draft, and execute eye-catching landing pages and longer-form content (blog posts, articles, social posts) that will consistently outrank those of our competitors.

Responsibilities:

• Write and optimize content for landing pages—for search, sales, or both
• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
• Help plan the look and feel of those pages, including images and other media, with the help of our in-house video and graphics experts
• Convey sometimes technically complex topics in a way that is clear, compelling, and accessible for average consumers
• Research, develop, and create blog posts and articles to help position and drive sales for AstrillVPN in global markets.
• Deliver world-class content in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including PR, SEO, advertising, bloggers, product managers, and affiliates.
• Make sure our marketing message is consistent across all channels
• Edit and provide feedback on work written by other team members and freelancers
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics

Your success metrics include

• Sales and web traffic generated by the content you touch
• Search-engine rankings of our content
• Conversion rates of your landing pages and sales copy
• Quality and speed of project delivery

Optional Skills and Experience

• 4 years experience as a content writer
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English. You should be able to present and get buy-in from stakeholders.
• Interest in internet security, privacy, and tech (general)
• Experience and a deep understanding of copywriting
• Experience in any of the following areas:
• Writing about tech topics
• Growing followers and engagement on social media
• Creating SEO-optimized content for Google, Yahoo, Bing
• Email marketing or customer lifecycle communications
