Key Responsibilities
- Formulate detailed project charters and strategic plans to guide project execution.
- Manage budgets, track progress, and ensure clarity and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Direct key project components, including scope definition, scheduling, cost management, quality assurance, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and procurement strategies.
- Lead projects of medium to large scale, addressing interdependencies and aligning efforts with organizational goals.
- Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with leadership teams and business units for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Provide ongoing progress updates, fostering open lines of communication and incorporating stakeholder feedback.
- Uphold project management methodologies to ensure consistent results and delivery.
- Identify and resolve potential risks and issues proactively to support project success.
- Implement governance controls to manage scope, budgets, and timelines effectively.
- Track and report on project deliverables, ensuring alignment with objectives and anticipated benefits.
- Mentor and guide project teams, including coordinators and technical staff, to foster a high-performing environment.
- Support project prioritization and documentation efforts, including risk assessments and budget preparation.
- Offer insights and recommendations to enhance portfolio decision-making processes.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience in project management, with a focus on planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting.
- Strong negotiation and facilitation abilities for managing meetings and vendor interactions.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skills in complex scenarios.
- Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, emphasizing risk and change management.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- PMP certification is highly preferred.
- Background in managing enterprise-level software implementations and resource planning.
