Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Revenue Manager to join our team in Novotel Cairo Airport, Egypt. As a key member of our commercial strategy team, you will be responsible for optimizing revenue streams, analyzing market trends, and implementing effective pricing strategies to maximize our organization’s financial performance.
– Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize pricing and inventory across all distribution channels
– Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and historical data to forecast demand and adjust pricing accordingly
– Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives
– Generate and maintain accurate revenue reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership
– Manage rate parity across all channels and ensure compliance with pricing policies
– Assist in the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term projections
– Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities
– Maintain and optimize the use of revenue management systems and tools
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in revenue management
– Participate in special projects aimed at uncovering new revenue opportunities and enhancing overall performance
Requirements:
Qualifications
– Minimum 3-4 years of experience
– Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
– Proven experience in revenue management, preferably in the hospitality industry
– Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
– Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and revenue optimization techniques
– Experience with revenue management systems (e.g., Ideas RMS, Opera PMS/ORS, TARS)
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities with a track record of meeting deadlines
– In-depth knowledge of market trends, competitive pricing strategies, and distribution channels
– Familiarity with online travel agencies (OTAs) and other digital distribution platforms
– Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
– Adaptability to new technologies and industry changes
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
