Candidate Location: Remote (near major airport)
The ideal candidate – 8+ YOE leading the business development, sales and product management function for an electrification, energy or industrial products company. Proven growth success with a focus on expanding into new emerging markets and expanding channel sales opportunities.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Leader to spearhead business development efforts for the Company’s new technologies. This role is critical in identifying and penetrating high-growth markets, establishing key partnerships, and contributing to the strategic direction of the organization.
- Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify, assess, and prioritize new market opportunities in electrification, stationary storage, onboard charging, battery manufacturing and testing, and related sectors.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and partners, driving adoption of Company’s innovative technologies.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand Company presence in emerging sectors.
- Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Collaborate with the CCO to shape and implement Company’s sales strategy across all business units.
- Provide leadership to the sales team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and performance.
- Deliver on sales targets and growth objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, aligning Company offerings with their needs and challenges.
- Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring exceptional service, reliability, and support.
- Represent the Company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to strengthen the brand and build networks.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. A Master’s degree in business administration or engineering discipline is desired. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or a related role in industrial, energy, or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of driving growth and market penetration in new technologies or industries.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and developing talent.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Familiarity with power electronics, electrification, or adjacent markets is a strong advantage.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to travel 35% or more including international travel, depending on customer needs.
