The Role:
As the Partnerships & Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving Tire Streets’ growth across new and existing motorsports segments. Your focus will building strategic partnerships with athletes, influencers, organizations, and brands, to increase brand awareness and engagement.
This role can be located anywhere in the US. Our headquarters is in Austin, TX, and if you are local to Austin, we meet two days a week in the WeWork office. Your all-access WeWork membership provides entry to any global location whenever you choose if you like to get out of the house on WFH days.
Key Responsibilities:
New Partnership Development
- Identify and onboard new partners, including influencers, events, organizations, and brands to drive growth in new and existing segments
- Lead negotiations and contracting
- Establish clear expectations and goals for each partnership
Managing Existing Partnerships
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all existing partners
- Collaborate with partners to identify campaigns, promotions, events, and content that enhance brand awareness and engagement for Tire Streets.
- Measure and report on the performance of partnerships to ensure ROI, providing feedback to partners and leadership
Manage Partnership Programs:
- Work with partners to create co-branded campaigns, events, and activations that engage the motorsports community.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing & operations teams to bring Partnership programs to life across all channels (email, social media, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with the content team to align partner content initiatives with growth goals
- Represent Tire Streets at industry events, track days, and trade shows to build connections and promote the brand.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years in business development, partnership management, or related roles for any industry
- Motorsports Experience not required
- Strategic thinker with a track record of identifying and leveraging growth opportunities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Exceptional cross-functional and project management skills
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong data analytics and reporting skills
- Proficient excel skills to analyze data (pivot tables, basic formulas)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
