Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Account Manager to join our newly formed Account Management team within the revenue organization. This role is pivotal in driving our digital media sales strategy while delivering exceptional value to our advertisers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in marketing strategies, demonstrating the ability to develop tailored campaigns that meet our clients’ goals. As a Senior Account Manager, you will focus on prospecting, qualifying, and pitching our unique value proposition to potential customers across various Engineering Verticals, including Design Engineering, Robotics, Medical Device, Electrical Engineering, Packaging OEM, and Automation Controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting, pitching, and successfully closing a significant volume of new partnerships, both inbound and outbound.
- Overseeing the complete sales cycle, which includes prospecting, strategic fact-finding, comprehensive product pitching, and negotiations leading to deal closure.
- Managing relationships with existing clients, including upselling and renewing business.
- Exercising strategic planning over your designated book of business, including account prioritization and forecasting.
- Maintaining precise and timely records of customer/prospect data, pipeline activity, and forecast metrics.
- Collaborating with team members to share insights, best practices, and strategies for achieving collective objectives.
- Project managing advertising campaigns from initial material collection to final reporting.
- Serving as the first point of contact for assigned brands, addressing incoming inquiries as necessary.
- Conducting targeted outreach to vertical markets while working with brand leaders on cross-collaborative proposals.
- Onboarding new clients and tracking deliverables against agreements.
- Coordinating with the accounting team regarding invoicing and financial matters.
- Participating in weekly and monthly reporting and meetings.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in a client-facing role with a proven track record of full-cycle sales.
- Background in media, marketing, or advertising is preferred.
- Proficient in client presentations, with a solid understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Familiarity with the sales cycle, including research, outreach, pitching, negotiating, and deal closure.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in marketing from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Ability to forecast, track, and report on sales performance while meeting quarterly targets.
