The Role:
We’re looking for an Ecommerce Manager to drive continued growth in the US market by managing and executing promotional campaigns, optimizing our website to drive conversions, and supporting growth initiatives. This role will report to the Director of E-commerce & Marketing.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strong analytical skills, a creative marketing eye, problem solving mindset, and cross functional management skills allowing them to create and implement strategies to improve our E-commerce sales.
This role can be located anywhere in the US. Our headquarters is in Austin, TX. If you’re local to Austin, we meet two days a week in the WeWork office and your all-access WeWork membership provides entry to any global location whenever you choose if you like to get out of the house on WFH days.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management:
- Oversee product catalog management and maintain accurate product SKU data and listings across all platforms, including but not limited to Shopify and Amazon
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure accurate product descriptions, images, pricing, and availability
Website Management:
- Oversee daily maintenance and improvement of ecommerce website
- Oversee the use of current technology systems, backend system integrations, ans apps
- Merchandise all new products and landing pages
- Manage Shopify apps to improve functionality
- Coordinate with web developers to optimize site performance, load times, responsiveness, etc
- Implement A/B testing to continuously improve website elements and conversion rates.
Marketing Management:
- Oversee affiliate marketing campaigns with support of external agency
- Maintain a cross-channel marketing calendar using tools like ClickUp
- Implement strategies to drive repeat buyers and increase customer lifetime value
Pricing & Inventory Management:
- Manage promotional pricing and discount codes to align with sales objectives
- Develop monthly order recommendations by SKU to optimize inventory levels
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Create and present reports on campaign performance, providing actionable insights
- Continuously evaluate and improve e-commerce website to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Recommend and initiate optimizations that drive additional growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, E-commerce, Marketing or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in DTC e-commerce with consumer goods and lifestyle brands
- 2+ years of experience managing a website
- 2+ years of experience analyzing data in Excel and presenting to leadership
- Demonstrated success in driving online sales growth
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Excellent proficiency in retail math (revenue, profit margin, and pricing analysis)
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with 3P marketplaces like Amazon & Ebay is a plus
