GovTech is seeking an UX Designer to work on challenging problems in an

environment running like a modern product company, solving important underserved problems in the public sector.

As a UX Designer, you will work with a cross functional team of product manager and engineers and are ultimately responsible for product outcomes. You will lead through influence and use hard evidence, credibility and relationships to create stakeholder alignment.

What you will be working on:

1. Collaborate with product management and engineering to ensure seamless and continuous development and deployment
2. Validating your designs working with product management and/or through qualitative research (either yourself or working with a UX researcher).
3. Incorporate user research to ensure the customer’s voice is incorporated into the design process.
4. Understand and articulate the information architecture, workflows, and processes surrounding the user experience.
5. Participate in road-mapping exercises with partner teams to break the experience vision down into an iterative roadmap
6. Audit key customer journeys and examine data and customer feedback to gain expertise in the end-to-end experience

What We Are Looking For

1. Degree or Diploma in Human Computer Interactions, Design, Psychology, Computer Sciences or related disciplines
2. 3+ years of product design experience
3. A portfolio that demonstrates experience designing modern user interfaces (UIs) and interactions. We are interested in design solutions, not design artifacts
4. Able to leverage research and data to support design recommendations
5. Experience with mobile and responsive design
6. Solid communication skills with an ability to collaborate compassionately and inclusively with cross-functional partners (Design, Product, Engineering)
7. Experience using Figma, Sketch or other interaction design / prototyping tools.
