Group It Project Manager (Remote)

He/she will operate on Group SAP applications within the Finance and Controlling Area. Able to understand the Group IT Strategy and, with limited and goal-oriented supervision, is responsible for performing professional level business systems and processes analysis, project management activities and SAP system setup including planning, designing, implementing, and testing solutions based on the user requirements and in accordance with the Group IT strategy.

He/she has a proficient understanding of a multinational environment and processes and will significantly operate on complex Application landscape.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manage the implementation and support of SAP FI and CO functionalities, coordinating and supervising the related suppliers.
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.
• Conduct meetings and workshops to collect business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FI-CO with all the other SAP modules.
• Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; propose necessary modifications and/or enhancements to satisfy clients’ needs.
• Drive ABAP technician on FI/CO development and customizing by managing external supplier and related contract/budget.
• Identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions.
• Proactively identify and propose business processes and/or system enhancements.
• Handle changes or emergency transport as needed for high priority issues.
• Document functional designs, test cases and results.
• Document Technical designs.
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
• Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
• Understand the Group IT strategy and translate it in projects/initiatives able to extend the Group Landscape in the Regions.
• Prepares project proposals and project/initiatives RFI/RFP/RFQ; understand budget implication and responsibly operate on cost control and cost reduction.
• Prepares project work plans and timelines, monitors project milestones and reports project progress to management.
• Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization; participates in/on a variety of meetings, groups, and/or committees to communicate about process analysis of existing procedures and systems, determine cost/benefit and complexities of new processes and projects, prepare for testing, discuss the roll-out of new projects and software upgrades, and/or discuss other applicable issues.
• Collaborate and cooperate with the application maintenance service to address tickets and escalate issues if needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• EDUCATION: bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in computer science, information technology, information systems, or a related discipline.
• Strong verbal & written Communication skills in English is mandatory. Italian, Turkish, French or Danish is a plus.

• EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years of experience on managing FI/CO Applications and Applications Projects. Design, customize, configure and testing of FI/CO functionality in the following areas:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Fixed Asset Accounting (AA)
• Cost Element, Cost Center, Internal Order and Profit center accounting
• Product costing/Material ledger
• CO/PA
• Thinks clearly and calmly under pressure; experienced on working goal-oriented.

• Solves complex problems with creative solutions.
• Places emphasis on internal customer satisfaction.
• ABAP knowledge and SAP Certification FI/CO on S/4 are a plus.
