Senior Test Automation Engineer (Remote)

SoftServe is collaborating with a leading technology-enabled healthcare services company, which provides integrated supportive care solutions for public and private payers and their patients.

Our client is a company providing value-based solutions that address the social determinants of health (SDoH), enable greater access to care, reduce costs, and improve outcomes.

Additionally, they are a leading provider of non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), personal and home care, and nutritional meal delivery. They partner with leading health plans and providers nationally, delivering a broad array of assessment and care management services to individuals that improve health outcomes and health plan financial performance.

IF YOU ARE

• Experienced in TypeScript, Playwright, and BDD
• Adept at Gherkin syntax
• Familiar with Java, even on a basic level
• Skilled in Web and API automation testing
• Confident in test automation for regression testing, load testing, and performance testing
• A practitioner of a test-first development methodology
• Accustomed to Agile/Scrum methodology
• Proficient in English
• Autonomous enough to work under minimal guidance and manage time to correspond to the overall test automation plan
• Customer-focused and client-oriented
• Open to learning new technologies and languages
• A powerful communicator who manages client’s and stakeholder’s requirements and expectations

AND YOU WANT TO

• Build and test innovative new products, data as a service, data as a product
• Integrate with third-party service providers to support a transforming and growing client business
• Contribute to test strategy and plan documentation
• Define a suitable scope and level of automation, strategy, approach, resources, and effective test types for a particular project feature
• Measure the common test automation effectiveness of metrics
• Implement the test automation frameworks, their modules, supporting tools, and reusable components from scratch
• Create CI/CD build configurations and pipelines from scratch
• Implement custom steps to support project build or test execution
• Set up project version control from scratch, maintain and solve ongoing issues
• Define guidelines for the code review process and incorporate different practices to simplify the process
• Write a code that is efficient in terms of language performance, style conventions, and readability
• Automate test scenarios of any complexity beyond standard tools
• Prepare internal and external quality reports (test execution, test summary, etc.) at various project stages
• Participate in performance review sessions
• Set up task priorities considering the project schedule, stages, milestones, and expected delivery date
