Senior Go Developer (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Go Developer to join our remote team, working with cutting-edge technologies in the cloud space. As a Senior Go Developer, you will work closely with streaming technologies such as WebSockets, pub-sub and Kafka, and design and implement complex solutions in AWS. You will also be responsible for rewriting/migrating large codebases and writing automated unit, integration, and load tests. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement complex solutions in AWS, utilizing Go and other technologies
• Rewrite/migrate large codebases to improve performance and scalability
• Performance profiling and benchmarking to identify and address performance bottlenecks
• Contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards for Go development
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews, providing valuable feedback and insights
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in cloud computing and Go development

Requirements

• Advanced coding skills in Go, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Go development
• Strong experience in implementing complex solutions in AWS, including EC2, SES, and S3
• Proficiency in SQL, with strong database design skills
• Experience in writing automated unit, integration, and load tests, with a solid understanding of SDLC methodologies
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, with a strong understanding of Jenkins, Github Actions, or other similar tools
• Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with Flask/Django frameworks, showcasing your web development experience
• Strong experience with microservice architecture, highlighting your ability to design and implement scalable solutions
