Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and surpass Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) linked to sales targets, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while managing the complete sales pipeline—from prospecting through to closing.
- Deliver engaging demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients at their locations, industry conferences, and trade events.
- Regularly visit client sites to discuss their unique industry challenges and requirements.
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships, including conducting in-person presentations and project meetings.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and optimize product offerings.
- Provide timely, accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Conduct market research to remain informed on competitors and emerging market trends.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the Law Enforcement or Government sectors.
- Experience with GSA and federal procurement/contract processes is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage a substantial portfolio exceeding $500K.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in cold calling, prospecting, and outbound sales.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales tools, including HubSpot, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- A four-year degree in business or related fields is preferred.
Qualifications
- Willingness to travel domestically 20-35% for client meetings and industry events.
