Job Overview
We are seeking a driven and ambitious Account Executive (Packaging Consultant) who will be instrumental in driving sales growth and enhancing profitability. This pivotal role requires a proactive individual dedicated to expanding our clientele while managing and nurturing existing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting: Identify and acquire new customers to grow your account portfolio through consultative selling of customized packaging solutions. Create accurate proposals and successfully close deals through proactive client engagement.
- Business Retention: Employ our suite of sales tools and resources to maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Account Development: Increase sales within current accounts by leveraging both new and existing product offerings.
- Project Management: Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate complex sales transactions, ensuring exceptional customer support throughout the process.
- Customer Relationship Building: Establish robust partnerships and ensure the fulfillment of all contractual agreements.
- Supplier Engagement: Develop comprehensive product knowledge and foster effective relationships with suppliers.
- Utilizing Technology: Utilize Salesforce and other marketing tools to monitor customer engagement and secure new business opportunities.
- Customer Satisfaction: Prioritize customer satisfaction and contribute positively to the branch’s performance metrics.
- Embodying Company Values: Promote and live out our organizational values while supporting a collaborative team environment.
Required Skills
- Strong customer-centric mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, including active listening and impactful presentation skills.
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen, with the capability to effectively convey the value of our products and services.
- Highly motivated, creative, and competitive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce CRM is preferred.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is strongly preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- A minimum of 3 years of successful experience in consultative B2B sales, particularly in complex project management and relationship-focused transactions.
- A strong passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
