We are a seed stage company, backed by SYN Ventures, Okta Ventures, and Secure Octane, and are looking for an experienced Account Executive to be the founding member of our sales team.

Job Description
Synqly is seeking an Account Executive to join our rapidly growing team. In this role you will be the tip of the spear to find, nurture, and close new business. Working closely with the management team, you’ll define, build, and execute our sales strategy. You should be a self-starter with the drive to source and close early customers, define and refine the sales motion, and provide important input on pricing, marketing, and product direction. You’ll be part of a collaborative team with the experience to create a thriving, fast-growth business and the drive to get there.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Sourcing leads
- Nurturing sales through the customer acquisition process that you help to define
- Supporting engineers through POC processes
- Negotiating and closing deals
- Working with Synqly’s broad set of industry leading partners to source new opportunities
- Participating in the development of broader company sales strategy and providing feedback from the field on new product requirements and integration requests.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
Synqly is seeking an experienced Account Executive who has worked in early-stage startups and understands how to build and manage an early-stage funnel. You must be a hungry, driven individual with the ability to break down barriers and think outside the box. You will ideally understand embedded product sales.
Your qualifications must include:
- BA or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years of sales experience
- Experience working in an early-stage startup
- Understanding of cyber security and security use cases• Demonstratable experience sourcing leads and leading the full sales cycles, as well as working opportunities generated by marketing and SDRs
- Cultivate strong customer relationships and position yourself as a trusted advisor to facilitate expansions, renewals and referrals across your customers
- Lead by example as a mentor for new sales team members as we continue to grow
- Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and business development teams to share
- your customer insights
- Experiment with new ideas, processes and tools that will improve and scale our sales motion
- Experience working in the Integration Platform as a Service or SOAR space is desirable
- The ability to maintain a meaningful dialogue with the technical leadership teams at security and IT Ops product companies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, as well as exceptional listening skills
- Self-motivated, driven, gets things done
