Position
Due to growth the organisation are now appointing a new Account Manager / BDM for Sydney. The position will see you playing an integral role developing and strengthening market share and client relationships for the national footprint with a focus on NSW. Duties include:
- Looking after a portfolio of customers
- Developing and growing key accounts of recurring business
- Representing the full suit of all category items
- Dealing with various industrial, warehousing & related markets
- Nurturing the key accounts and growing them
- Focussing on new growth and increasing clients
- Growing your team under you in the mid to long term
- Being the trusted advisor and heading up the NSW division
- Setting up new accounts on a subscription style of recurring business
- Having ample product and supply in their Sydney depot
- Strategically plan and grow your division
- Full support from an established admin & customer service team
- Dealing with customers on a mix of meetings, calls, presentations etc.
- Joining a business unit established for over 20 years

The experience needed
To be considered for this role you must be coming from the Packaging & Consumables space where you have developed sales and relationships in the industrial and warehousing markets.
If have been selling any relatable product or solution to the industrial, trade, manufacturing, food packaging or stretch industries we are open to looking at that too.
- Packaging consumables industry experience
- Experience in developing new business and accounts
- Strong relationship management experience
- Exposure to industrial and warehousing markets
- Ability to collaborate with different operational departments
- A commercial understanding of business and sales
- Desire to grow your division and staff with your stamp on it
- Ability to cross sell and up sell to customers
- Able to both work with autonomy and with a supportive team
