Copia Resources is seeking a highly skilled Junior Account Manager to assist with all aspects of daily business operations with the primary focus being on customer service and sales. We are looking for an energetic, passionate professional with strong people skills.
The primary role of the Junior Account Manager will be managing all areas of customer service for Copia Resources in the assigned territories and growing existing relationships with our clients. The successful candidate will be a critical thinker who is proactive and can take a strategic perspective while also being hands-on and extremely detail-oriented.
Job Duties:
- Handle administrative tasks including customer service calls and answering emails.
- Oversee the actions of field crews by reviewing route photos and communicating via Google chat and phone.
- Work with hauler companies to resolve issues with client bins, pick-up schedules, and any other issues that arise with the garbage companies.
- Handle communication between our office, clients, haulers, and our field employees.
- Collaboratively work with all assigned BPO representatives who simultaneously provide support in your territory.
- Be proactive by anticipating the needs of our client partners and presenting creative solutions.
- Maintain and grow relationships with portfolio clients
- Package contract deals and present them to clients.
- Working with Account Managers on existing clients and leverage relationships to get new properties to propose services.
- Work with our sales team to assist with service recommendations, hauler pricing, and service changes.
- Be able to receive/make a mid to high volume of phone calls with a professional demeanor.
- Email clients and ensure their needs are being met, along with the company’s vision.
- Upsell our services to current clients.
- Complete assigned special projects, as needed.
- Flexibly support additional territories, as needed.
- Opportunity to conduct customer service visits and site inspections.
The Ideal Candidate:
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proactive and fast-paced
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team player
- High verbal and written communication skills
- Must be tech-savvy and efficient working with computers – Mac use preferred
- 2+ years of customer service experience in an office setting required
- 2+ years of inside sales experience highly preferred
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRMs preferred
- Must be available to work Monday – Friday from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm (Also must be available to work most major holidays)
- Must be able to switch to a Hybrid schedule with in-office work in Seattle, WA area (timeline estimate: April 2025)
- 25% travel required
- Associates degree required
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish highly preferred
About Copia Resources: Founded in 2015, Copia Resources set out to be the premier ancillary services provided for its clients. Currently specializing in refuse and recycling programs/initiatives throughout Northern California, Southern California and the greater Seattle, WA areas, Copia Resources plans to further expand and incorporate several other core business units.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 – $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
