Summary:
Under the direction of Manager – Client Services or Manager- Technical Services, supervises the project work for a client, or related application and development tasks; directs technical staff assigned to client, maintains client relations, develops functional specifications for prospective clients; supervises projects including both management and hands-on programming; assists with prioritization of RSG’s development agenda and in introducing new technology to RSG.
Responsibilities:
- Training our clients on the following products: Dmitri and Claim lookup
- Managing the extracts going to our customers: Setting up requests for new data extracts. Changing existing extracts, Coordination of data extract changes. Researching extracted data (out of balance conditions, missing data, etc.)
- Supervises the day-to-day activity of client assigned staff in implementing project specifications.
- Delegates aspects of project to individual project team members, solicits interoffice assistance where necessary.
- Primary contact for assigned clients.
- Provides analytical and functional support to clients.
- Assists in writing reports as defined by client specifications.
- Lead on implementation of new system features.
- Develops training agendas.
- Communicates with RSG staff in other locations regarding projects in order to avoid duplication of effort.
- Stays abreast of new technology within the industry.
- Reviews technical journals and business publications and attends conferences to stay in touch with marketplace changes and developments.
- Generates ideas for new product development and enhancements to existing products; conceptualizes client opportunities.
- Handles special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Upholds the Crawford Code of Business Conduct at all times.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, MIS or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Solid understanding of systems capabilities and procedures.
- Working knowledge of risk management concepts, principles, and technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills; ability to work with people at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to management projects to timely completion and on budget.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Good organization and ability to reprioritize activities as needed.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years experience with information systems development and database management systems.
Decision Making/Interaction:
- Daily contact with technical staff to supervise project progress and assist with problems; frequent contact with RSG management to review progress and exchange ideas. Regular contact with clients, software, communications and hardware vendors, insurance data suppliers, insurance companies, potential clients. Many contacts are primarily to exchange information; decision making usually requires weighing of difference options.

- Exertion up to 20 pounds of force is occasionally required and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Visual activity requirements are those of Clerical Administrative. This is a minimum standard for use with those whose work deals largely with preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, computer terminal, extensive reading, operation of machines, and using measurement devices.
