Account Manager It Solutions (Remote)

Location: Remote, Western U.S.

Compensation: Base $120K-$160K + commission/bonus (OTE: $240K++)

Position Overview

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth with medium and enterprise clients. This role involves understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions from our range of IBM Power, Cloud, and IT services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts to understand their business needs and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling IBM Cloud solutions and IT services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support to clients.
• Monitor account performance and prepare reports for management on account status and growth.
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead contract negotiations and renewals to secure business agreements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to effectively position our offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years sales experience in the IT or cloud solutions sector.
• Strong knowledge of IBM Cloud, IBM Power, and enterprise IT solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic relationships and drive sales growth.
• Familiarity with data center operations, disaster recovery, and data backup solutions is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Some travel in Western US as needed
