Responsibilities
As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and cultivating new customer accounts while also nurturing existing client relationships. Your efforts will be critical in meeting the increasing demand across various sectors such as advanced science, government, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, and data center development, where robust electrical infrastructure is essential. You will be responsible for promoting a comprehensive suite of power solutions, including:
- Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
- Power Distribution Units (PDU)
- Remote Power Panels (RPP)
- LV & MV Switchgear
- LV & MV Transformers
- UL 891 & UL 67 Panels
- Generators & Associated Switching
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales targets while implementing elements of the annual sales and marketing strategy.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing clients, effectively converting referrals and warm leads into sales.
- Engage in consultations with customers, successfully closing sales, upselling where applicable, and working closely with the inside sales team for material sourcing.
- Increase awareness of our extensive range of offerings in both existing and new markets.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Expand market reach in proven geographic areas while also identifying new opportunities.
- Actively participate in industry associations and events to foster professional growth and networking.
- Recognize potential new markets and complementary product offerings to enhance our service.
Required Skills
- Profound knowledge of electrical distribution and relevant technical experience.
- Expertise in advanced sales techniques and prospecting strategies.
- Proficiency in using CRM software to manage customer relationships effectively.
- Excellent follow-up skills with a persistent approach to closing deals.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with office software tools, including QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, along with an understanding of general office equipment.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the electrical distribution or construction industry, along with training in sales and relationship building.

Compensation And Benefits
This role operates on a commission-based compensation structure. Specific details regarding the compensation plan will be shared with qualified candidates.
In Addition, Our Benefits Include
