Job Summary:
The Account Manager position is responsible for the successful planning, development and execution of client retention strategies and business operations to achieve both personal and company growth. This position will work closely with the President and Vice President to deliver the highest level of customer service in our field and constantly exceed customer expectations. The right candidate will be highly conversational, a good listener, and able to ensure customer satisfaction while proactively building infrastructure for our growing company. This person must be able to work independently and be a motivated self-starter and will serve as the primary point of contact for Granite Peak Analytics’ valued customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities and Expectations:
The Account Manager will need to:
• Be primarily passionate about improving the lives of others by reducing prescription and overall healthcare costs
• Clearly communicate and resell the value of our services through multiple communication mediums (email, phone, face to face, social media)
• Manage vendor relationships and improve service timeliness by becoming an expert in our analytics platform
• Manage the organizations’ CRM
• Provide accurate log for all scheduled and completed meetings with potential and existing clients through CRM
• Develop sales proposals, powerpoint presentations, and customer agreements
• Provide excellent customer service to manage and grow client accounts through successful renewals
• Establish and maintain professional and ethical working relationships with all clients and company staff
• Be self-taught and willing to ask questions to learn the industry and request training as needed
• Coordinate existing client and prospective client calls/meetings with multiple stakeholders
• Coordinate and log necessary service agreements and proposals and track contract expirations/renewals through CRM
• Develop renewal increases in conjunction with leadership and be able to confidently present to customers
• Be transparent with leadership about sales and service barriers and be the “voice of the client” to internal teams
• Coordinate/develop kick-off meetings for new clients and appropriately communicate and coordinate with vendor teams for successful onboarding
• Appropriately bring in team members based on audience to increase sales/retention probability or to solve complex, escalated issues.
• Approach the position with a can-do, entrepreneurial spirit, strong business acumen, and a desire to drive accelerated sales and customer retention
• Fiercely debate ideas from leadership in a respectful way to arrive at the best possible solution for customers
• Be the “face” of GPA within our community and leverage local networking, organizations and fundraising opportunities to solidify GPA as a community leader and change agent
• Perform day-to-day administrative duties such as data entry, mailing, printing etc.
• Assist with creating processes to streamline future training and prepare for continued growth
• Perform all other duties as required

Supervisory Duties (if applicable):
Currently the position does not require any supervisory duties.
Minimum Qualifications (Experience/Education):
• Bachelor’s Degree
OR
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B relationship management
AND
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in self-funded benefit programs and/or pharmacy benefits (i.e. PBM)
Competencies or Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):
• Occasional travel may be required
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to present to C-suite and large groups of people.
• Ability to prioritize workload and remain adaptable under pressure.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat required.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be highly organized
• Must be able to adapt and flex to a changing environment
• Must be able to pay close attention to details.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to use discretion and independent judgement

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit.
