About the Role
Due to internal movement, we are looking for a full-time Account Manager/Senior Account Manager for NSW and other assigned territories. This role will be based in Sydney where our Head Office and Training Centre is located, and will report to the National Sales Manager, ANZ.
This role provides expert diagnostic advice and business development into the clinical streams for our evolving product portfolio. This role will be responsible for territory sales, customer satisfaction and engagement, collaborating strongly with various stakeholders to defend and extend customer contracts and value. This role will be responsible for upholding and promoting the Brand Image of Diasorin into clinical streams such as Core Labs, Virology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology and any allied clinical areas. This role will liaise successfully with all members of the Diasorin team.
Key Responsibilities
- In concert with the NSM, create, and deliver the annual budget, incorporating agreed product and customer strategies to help achieve success
- Drive projects, making sure the commercial team are delivering customer satisfaction
- Monthly reporting and consistent use of CRM tools
- Be a trusted advisor for a strong and loyal customer base
- Create, maintain, manage key customer relationships
- Collaborate to help deliver strong brand awareness via conferences, user group meetings, review meetings and Diasorin TV
- Evaluations/Trials scientific collaboration with Product Management
- Partner with the Laboratory Diagnostic sales team in supporting National accounts.
About You
You must be a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and technically capable person to partner with our growing team. You have the drive and acumen to support the National Sales Manager in assigned accounts, combining sales, business development and support activities. You will have a desire to learn and contribute to our highly professional group, and to our loyal customers. You have significant experience in a clinical diagnostics lab, ideally with demonstrated managerial experience, or experience with a current IVD supply company, or both. Previous experience with Diasorin products is an advantage but not mandatory.
You possess strong interpersonal/communication skills, emotional & social intelligence, and above all, the personal integrity required to represent our company and our brands. You will want to grow, learn and enjoy the clinical aspects of our product lines. You need to have the following attributes to be considered:
- Impressive Biomedical Science qualifications and experience in a clinical laboratory. Immunoassay, Serology, Microbiology, and/or Molecular Diagnostics experience preferred.
- Demonstrated hands-on and managerial experience in the above
- Excellent PC and software skills.
- Helpful/advisory attitude.
- Team Player, with ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to travel interstate and overseas.
- Valid driver’s licence and Passport.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Respect for safe workplace practices, including compliance with any public health order for mandatory vaccination.
