Accountant Temporary Months (Remote)

Responsibilities:
– Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
– Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records in accordance with company policies and relevant regulations.
– Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights to enhance financial planning.
– Reconcile bank statements and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded.
– Support the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
– Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
– Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project costing and financial reporting.
– Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
– Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
– Maintain organized financial records and documentation for easy retrieval and reference.

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the construction industry.
– Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
– Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
– Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professionalism.
– Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
– Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations is a plus.
