We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Accountant – Payable to join our client team in the hospitality industry based in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess relevant professional certifications and have a strong background in managing accounts payable processes. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices to support our operations in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:
– Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, verification, and approval.
– Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all accounts payable activities.
– Maintain accurate and organized records of all vendor transactions and communications.
– Process and prepare vendor payments, ensuring timely disbursements while adhering to payment terms.
– Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
– Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation for invoice processing.
– Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation of accounts payable accounts.
– Prepare reports on accounts payable activity, highlighting trends and anomalies for management review.
– Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments, invoices, and disputes professionally.
– Continuously seek opportunities to improve accounts payable processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Reporting: Generate reports detailing accounts payable status, aging summaries, Prepayments, Accruals and cash flow projections.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and enhance efficiency.

– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
– Professional certification in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is mandatory.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
– Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly in accounts payable.
– Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
– Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
– Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
– Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus but not required.
– Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
Must have experience working on ORACLE

Salary:

AED
8,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
