- Manage collection activities such as negotiating with past-due accounts, referring account to collection agencies, and sending follow-ups
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
- Update payables/receivables by monitoring and coordinating all processing performed on orders that are delivered daily including transactions such as bank remittances
- Monitors collection periods and ensures team delivery of all debtors and payments
- Prepare recommendations and reports to identify issues, inefficiencies and opportunities to improve processes
- Develop and improve processes and procedures to reduce errors and improve customer success outcomes
- Develop the accounts department through regular training and development
- Maintain accurate records and control reports
- Experience in an Accounts Payable/Receivable environment
- Experience with a variety of accounting/ERP systems, is highly desirable
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong experience in team management and development
- Excellent collaborative and communication skills
