We are in search of a committed and seasoned Project Manager to spearhead and supervise large-scale, complex projects within a federal government context. This position calls for a driven professional with robust technical expertise, capable of effective collaboration with government personnel, and a solid history of achieving successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess an extensive knowledge of government acquisition procedures, exceptional communication abilities, and a dedication to fostering project success through proactive planning, innovative problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multifaceted projects, ensuring that all goals are accomplished within set timelines and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with government personnel and stakeholders to realize project objectives and cultivate strong partnerships.
  • Offer specialized technical advice and strategic planning to guarantee project alignment with established goals.
  • Track project performance, promptly address issues, and pinpoint opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Guarantee adherence to policies, regulations, and contractual commitments.
  • Serve as the principal point of contact to resolve government inquiries and provide timely project updates.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, notifying stakeholders of any contractual or programmatic concerns.

Required Skills

  • Extensive technical knowledge in project management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 24 semester hours in business-related coursework from an accredited institution, OR 10 years of federal contract specialist experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Over 10 years of experience executing quality management activities for government acquisitions.
  • At least 5 years of experience in formulating acquisition policies and guidance.
  • Relevant certifications (one or more of the following): DAWIA Level III, FAC-C Level III, NCMA Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM), NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM).
