Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct complex projects, confirming that all goals are achieved within the stipulated timeline and budget constraints.
- Collaborate effectively with government personnel and stakeholders to fulfill project objectives and cultivate strong working relationships.
- Offer specialized technical guidance and planning to ensure project alignment with set goals.
- Track project progress, address issues in a timely manner, and discover opportunities for enhancing processes.
- Uphold compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Serve as the primary liaison to address government inquiries and provide regular updates.
- Recognize and mitigate risks, notifying stakeholders of any contractual or programmatic challenges.
Required Skills
- Strong technical acumen related to project management in a federal context.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in government acquisition processes.
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail combined with effective problem-solving capabilities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 24 semester hours in business-related coursework from an accredited institution, or 10 years of federal contract specialist experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience:
- At least 10 years of quality management involvement for government acquisitions.
- Minimum of 5 years in developing acquisition policies and guidance.
- DAWIA Level III
- FAC-C Level III
- NCMA Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM)
- NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM)
