Job Description

As the Ad Operations Manager at Sandboxx, you will spearhead our partner advertising efforts, focusing on creating, managing and reporting on campaigns that effectively engage and support service members and their families across multiple channels including the Sandboxx app, Sandboxx News, direct mail, YouTube and more.

This role demands a deep understanding of our audiences’ needs and a commitment to enhancing their connection with our platform and partners.

Your Day-to-Day

• Oversee the planning, execution and measurement of advertising campaigns from inception to completion, specifically tailored to resonate with service members and their supporters
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners who are committed to supporting the military community
• Utilize data-driven insights to continuously refine advertising strategies, aiming for maximum impact and effectiveness of each campaign
• Develop diverse content across multiple channels to optimize engagement and promote partner offerings ensuring initiatives are effectively integrated with the overall user experience on Sandboxx platforms
• Conduct market research to understand the preferences and behaviors of service members and their supporters to optimize campaign effectiveness
• Innovate and adapt advertising practices to meet the evolving needs of our military audience and the dynamics of the digital media landscape
• Support the RFP process in partnership with ad sales and account management
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to communicate performance, trends, and insights

We’re Excited About You Because…

• You have 3-5 years of experience in ad operations, specifically in crafting omni-channel campaigns including (but not limited to) ROS, co-branded social media, dedicated messaging, direct mail, YouTube branded segments and more
• You have a deep understanding of advertising platforms and strategies, including ad serving technologies, programmatic advertising, ad exchanges and data management platforms—specifically GAM, GTM, DCM, Google Analytics, DV360, Meta Business Suite and more
• You’re an ambitious self-starter and enjoy a good challenge and continuous learning
• You’re a data “nerd” and have excellent analytical skills with a knack for turning data into actionable strategies
• You’re a strong communicator and storyteller and adept at conveying complex concepts in relatable terms
• You have exceptional project management skills with a proven track record of working with cross-functional teams to deliver results

Interview Process:

• Your application will be reviewed for possible next steps by the Hiring Manager
• If you meet eligibility requirements, the next step would be a video interview with the hiring manager for about one (1) hour.
• Following the hiring manager interview, each candidate will be required to complete an exercise where you will demonstrate your ability to ideate, pitch and manage an effective partner campaign.
• If warranted, the next step will be a cross-functional panel video interview for thirty (30) minutes.
• If warranted, the next step will be a 1:1 executive video interview for thirty (30) minutes.
