We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This role combines administrative support, bookkeeping, and event coordination, with a focus on both daily operations and organising larger school events. While the role is well-rounded, you will also be working with our management team, gaining valuable insights and support to help achieve the school’s goals. The position is open to new graduates, students currently studying, junior candidates seeking internship opportunities, or experienced professionals, with compensation based on your level of expertise and experience.

Location: In-person and Remote
Compensation: Earn up to 25% commission per job (starting at 7.5-10% during the training period).
Key Aspects of the Role
Administrative Support:
- Manage communication (emails, calls, and inquiries).
- Schedule lessons, meetings, and events for teachers and students.
- Maintain accurate records of student enrolments, payments, and attendance.
Bookkeeping & Financial Tasks:
- Handle invoices, payments, and expense tracking.
- Reconcile accounts using QuickBooks or similar software.
- Assist in budget preparation and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Event Coordination:
- Plan and organise fundraisers, concerts, and student showcases.
- Coordinate logistics, including booking venues, managing guest lists, and handling on-site arrangements.
- Collaborate with staff, students, and families to ensure smooth execution.
Operational Efficiency:
- Streamline processes to ensure the smooth running of the music school.
- Act as a point of contact for staff and students regarding schedules, events, and administrative matters.
- Support marketing efforts, including event promotion and social media updates.

Key Responsibilities

- Track and complete assigned tasks efficiently to meet weekly targets.
Requirements
- Open to new graduates, students currently studying (over 21 years old), junior candidates seeking internship opportunities, or experienced professionals.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping tools (e.g., QuickBooks) and sales administration processes is advantageous.
- A customer service-oriented attitude with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
- Flexibility to manage a mix of remote and in-person responsibilities.
Pay Structure
- Training Period: Earn 7.5% commission per job.
- Post-Training: Opportunity to earn up to 10% commission per job completed, with potential for higher earnings as responsibilities and expertise grow.
