Job Purpose
As an Agency Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in driving new revenue by generating leads and closing sales. You’ll collaborate closely with executives and other key personnel to identify, prioritize, and pursue new and existing business opportunities. To thrive in this fast-paced, agile environment, you’ll build and maintain a steady sales funnel, develop client relationships, and successfully close deals. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with a passion for customer service and a talent for turning opportunities into successes.
Key Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with clients through in-person and virtual interactions.
Gain and maintain a deep knowledge of our services, as well as client needs and expectations.
Proactively identify potential clients, reach out to them, and qualify prospects to ensure a strong business fit.
Deliver compelling, agent-focused presentations to win new business.
Guide prospective agencies through the application process, highlighting the benefits of partnership.
Onboard new agents to systems, resources, and support teams, fostering a smooth start.
Introduce new agents to underwriting, title production, and administrative contacts for a seamless transition.
Promote and organize events for agents, including both virtual and in-person gatherings.
Keep CRM records current with client interactions, calls, meetings, and relevant notes.
Conduct regular quarterly visits to clients within your territory to maintain strong connections.
Work with the Agency Manager and Admin to ensure timely collection of policy premiums and other receivables.
Identify any potential risks, take steps to address them, and escalate to the manager as necessary.
Maintain regular communication with Sales leadership, sharing insights and updates.
Represent the company at trade shows, sales conferences, and other events.
Stay informed about industry trends, changes, and regulations to maintain expertise.
Aim to meet or exceed performance goals and department objectives.
Travel as needed to connect with clients and attend relevant company or industry events.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Solid understanding of sales principles, strategies, and sales techniques.
Ability to analyze market data, anticipate client needs, and tailor recommendations.
Professional demeanor with the ability to build rapport with senior decision-makers.
Knowledge of the financial services industry, especially as it relates to sales.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Strong customer service orientation and high ethical standards.
Meets or exceeds federal and state compliance requirements.
Skilled in negotiation and closing techniques.
Proficient in interactive software, such as Zoom, for virtual client interactions.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and handheld devices.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Successfully pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in Title Insurance/Settlement Services Sales.
Title Marketing License (or ability to qualify for one through the Department of Insurance).
Supervisory Responsibility
This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This position offers a remote work setting with frequent client engagement. You’ll make sales calls, attend meetings, and follow up with clients from various locations, and may occasionally work in an office setting based on location, using standard office equipment.
Physical Requirements
This role does not require any unusual physical demands. Most work is performed indoors with routine deadlines and predictable workflows. Travel may occasionally require adjusting schedules, but advance notice is provided. Physical activities include sitting, handling objects, occasional walking, and lifting items up to 20 lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours
This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel
Travel is an expected part of this role to support client interactions and attend company or industry events.
