Agile Manager Project Lead (Remote)

We are in search of a highly skilled and proactive Agile Project Manager to join our team, specializing in the transition to a sprint-based framework within our Engineering department. This pivotal role is responsible for spearheading project planning, managing sprint cycles, and facilitating seamless communication between our engineering team and stakeholders. The successful candidate will possess a robust technical background, enabling effective collaboration with DevOps Engineers while providing timely updates to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering team in the implementation of Agile methodologies and sprint-based practices.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and deliverables that align with customer specifications and organizational objectives.
• Serve as the primary liaison for customers, delivering regular updates and managing expectations effectively.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle to maintain project momentum and success.
• Cultivate a collaborative team environment, guiding team members through challenges and fostering growth.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience as a Project Manager in Agile/Scrum settings, with a proven track record of overseeing software development projects.
• Strong technical acumen, allowing engagement with DevOps Engineers and a clear understanding of project intricacies.
• Expertise in project management tools, including Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project, to facilitate efficient workflow.
• Exceptional communication abilities, adept at managing relations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated risk management capabilities and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in Agile/Scrum environments.
• A strong technical foundation, with experience working alongside DevOps or software engineering teams.
• Preferred certifications include Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
