Analyst Planner Buyer (Remote)

You’ll partner cross-functionally with manufacturing operations and sales teams, delivering thoughtful solutions to complex challenges all while developing your knowledge of the medical device industry. Whether your work includes strategic inventory planning, labeling, warehouse management, material handling, or any of our other supply chain opportunities, you will be making a meaningful contribution to our team and to patients all over the world.

How you will make an impact:

• Communicate with global supply chain and local teams and resolves any supply issues, inventory levels not met, product specs/ license change, New Product Introduction (NPI)/ phase out
• Produce monthly demand forecast and monitor inventory replenishment orders and PO placement in JDA system
• Inventory Management:

Continuously monitor inventory coverage development to achieve target levels and early shortages / backorders / excess inventory detection. Follow up and action when needed

Proactively communicate with Management and internal stakeholders

• Lead the monthly S&OP meeting with local QA, RA, Finance, BU, Global BU, Global Supply Chain teams
• Prepare actual demand vs. target/ AOP forecast, inventory, back orders, supply, E&O, legislation updates
• Review the ongoing KPI level and resolve supply issues
• Recommend action items
• Work closely with sales & marketing team to collect market intelligence for forecast input. Understand any demand spike, get justification from the sales & marketing team and make necessary forecast adjustments
• Prepare and submit monthly financial forecast and Excess & Obsolete (E/O) report
• Produce reports such as planning KPI’s report, weekly back order report, etc and provide justifications for any abnormalities
• Other incidental duties

What you’ll need (Required):

• Bachelor’s Degree 3 years of previous related experience Required and
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry Preferred
• CPIM (Certified in Production &Inventory Management) , CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) Preferred

What else we look for (Preferred):

• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Global Supply Chain, and Quality systems (e.g., SQMS, JDE, JDA) preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Solid knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain and ISO laws and regulations applicable to medical device industry

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
