Key Responsibilities
- Incident Management: Effectively address and resolve user-reported incidents, escalating complex problems as necessary.
- System Monitoring: Vigilantly monitor the Epic Tapestry environment along with the Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) system to ensure peak performance and stability.
- Change Control Oversight: Navigate build migration paths while overseeing the change control process and managing ticket resolutions proficiently.
- Customer Support: Deliver outstanding customer service, troubleshoot issues, and prepare comprehensive training materials for Epic Tapestry and ORMB users.
- Project Participation: Engage in and occasionally spearhead projects, translating client requirements into actionable outcomes while managing relationships and expectations.
- Liaison Role: Foster collaboration through meetings, acting as a bridge between various departments and Information Systems to promote best practices and maintain quality standards.
- User Satisfaction Management: Ensure user satisfaction by proactively communicating, monitoring issues, and providing solution-oriented escalations.
- Documentation and Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations and document operational specifications for ORMB and Epic Tapestry functionalities.
- Mentorship: Act as a mentor to peers, offering guidance in build processes, workflows, and implementation strategies.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to departmental processes, including maintenance planning and compliance with health plan regulations.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Active Epic certification in at least one Tapestry module.
- Proficiency with Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB), Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS), and Unix commands.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare messaging formats (HL7, EDI, CSV, XML).
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to design, execute, and maintain complex systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience includes build capabilities in Epic Tapestry, understanding of membership and billing processes, and familiarity with production troubleshooting and Payer/Provider applications.
- Knowledge of ANSI 278 and 834 transactions, along with ITIL service methodology is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and across various time zones.
