Synopsis
Ancillary Revenue Analyst works within the Ancillary team contributing to a key requirement to deliver inspiring merchandising products to Etihad customers. Ensure timely and accurate ancillary products & pricing to the business to maximise revenue performance. Delays cause low speed to market whilst errors can cause significant revenue and reputation loss. Ancillary Revenue Analyst uses their analytical skills to highlight opportunities for revenue growth and their technical knowledge of ancillary pricing to put programmes in place. Ancillary Pricing Analyst adds their technical knowledge to find simple answers to complex solutions and then implements them. Key communication skills are required to ensure the delivery of a solution message is fully understood.
Accountabilities
– Responsible for the analysis of ancillary revenue performance with the ability to search, highlight and solve revenue opportunities at a Route, Point of Sale, OD or Product level. Communicate opportunities and performance with business stakeholders
– Responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of Etihad ancillary pricing strategy including all bundling and discount programmes within various systems used by Etihad; resolve potential channel conflict with other business stakeholders internally & externally
– Lead cross functional projects from an ancillary perspective; provide technical expertise to achieve successful implementation of projects such as Product Bundle, Matrix Pricing, Dynamic Ancillary Pricing
– Develop and manage the lifecycle process of projects driven by industry and system enhancements including the day-to-day operational aspects of ancillary pricing; ensure testing is complete and accurate
– Maintain business rules as agreed with Line Manager within Ancillary Dynamic Pricing; analyse performance and agree actions required to improve performance.
– Coordinate the workflow between RM & Ancillary to ensure ancillary revenue is optimised; ensure RM teams are fully appraised of products, programmes, and bundles; identify business questions to focus on; prioritise according to business value and urgency.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree
– Professional with deep analytical skills with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
– Minimum 4 years’ experience of pricing and merchandising. Experience within the aviation industry in the areas of Revenue Management would be preferred.
– Experience & knowledge in the use of airline fare filing systems such as ATPCO
