The Android Automotive OS Developer plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications for automotive infotainment systems. They are responsible for creating software that integrates with the vehicle’s hardware to provide a seamless and intuitive user experience. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety, functionality, and performance of in-car entertainment and navigation systems.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven 5+ experience in Android application development for automotive systems
• Familiarity with Automotive OS, such as Android Automotive
• Proficiency in Java and the Android SDK
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles
• Understanding of vehicle network communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
• Capability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
