Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Android Developer with expertise in Kotlin to join our mobile development team.

As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mobile applications for Android devices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features, and ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

This role requires strong knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin programming language, and best practices in mobile development.

Key Responsibilities :

– Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin.

– Collaborate with product management and UI/UX designers to define and implement new features.

– Implement and maintain high-quality codebase, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

– Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and design patterns.

– Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

– Optimize applications for performance, usability, and scalability.

– Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identifying and implementing solutions.

– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile development.

– Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications :

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

– X years of experience as an Android Developer with proficiency in Kotlin.

– Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.

– Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.

– Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.

– Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

– Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

– Familiarity with continuous integration and version control systems (e.g, Git).

– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

– Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

– Experience with Android Jetpack components (e.g, LiveData, ViewModel, Room).

– Knowledge of design patterns such as MVVM or MVP.

– Experience with testing frameworks (e.g, Espresso, JUnit).

– Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

– Experience with hybrid mobile app development frameworks (e.g, React Native, Flutter).

– Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile.
