Based on their growth they are looking for a key leadership role, an ANZ Country Manager, reporting into the CEO.
About the role
The Country Manager for Australia will be responsible for overseeing the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, driving local revenue and EBITDA growth, and leading the operations across sales, marketing, and eCommerce functions. The role will work closely with key stakeholders, including the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for platform development and a founder CEO. You will lead the local market teams of circa 60 people in the business unit.Â
As a newly formed business unit, there will be a strong change agenda not only in the unit but in working alongside the platform team. Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Developing and leading the [Australia/the ANZ region] go-to-market plan and strategy
- Taking a hands-on approach, and getting involved in the day-to-day operations and execution of the strategy
- Cultivating a culture of ambition, collaboration, and excellence, inspiring teamsÂ
- Supported by a Head of Sales, continue the expansion of the business reach managing key relationships with existing and prospective corporate partners
- Championing a customer-first mindset, ensuring that every product and service resonates with local markets.Â
- Leading the ANZ B2C marketing strategy
- Working closely with the Product and Technology teams to ensure regional needs are integrated into product roadmaps
- Owning the financial performance of the region, optimising for operating cash flow and EBITDA.
- Driving the adoption of the tech platforms features by experience operators and partners.
About You
This senior leadership role requires a dynamic, commercially minded individual with a deep understanding of both the travel and technology sectors. You will also act as a culture custodian, exemplifying great leadership, growing others and actively contributing to the overall leadership of the group.Â
You will bring extensive sales and marketing expertise; industry knowledge within ecommerce will be essential to your success. Your ability to develop and execute a growth strategy in a fast-paced growing and transition business is key. Your people, problem solving and communication skills are aligned with your ability to lead a large team through growth and transition.
